About the club
We are a small, friendly club of amateur artists. We are always happy to welcome kindred spirits of all abilities!
Membership fees for the club are currently £90 a year, running from September to August. New members pay a pro-rata amount. Your membership fee covers rent, utility bills and various other expenses.
For a nominal amount, members can also have a key to the clubhouse, so you can have access at any time you like, 7 days a week.
Members gather at the clubhouse mainly on weekday mornings, and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. You can choose to draw, paint etc, or chat and drink coffee; some members bring their lunch with them if they feel like staying into the afternoon.
We occasionally arrange tutorials and crit nights when they are affordable. We do not have regular tuition, but members are always willing to give advice to each other (if wanted)!
Musselburgh Art Club is supported by a grant from East Lothian Council.
